History

In 1979, Barbara Inc. was founded as a company providing general construction services for a broad spectrum of market sectors including  commercial, private education, entertainment, hospitality, mixed-use, office, resort and estate residential, retail, restaurant and spa.

Working with many diverse clients, Barbara Inc. quickly expanded its experience using all project delivery methods including design-bid-build, design-build and construction management at-risk.

In 1985, in response to changing market conditions and client requests, the BHDS Group was founded, a firm providing professional construction management and program management services as an owner’s principal agent for many of its existing clientele.

By leveraging a strong understanding of the A/E and construction industry along with practical experience and comprehensive skills in all areas of planning, design and construction of projects and programs, the BHDS Group has been able to provide a valuable service for its clients' national and international construction programs and/or projects.

Mission

As an owners' principal agent, the BHDS Group will provide each project with leadership guided by the principles of trust, transparent processes, effective collaboration, and the skill and expertise required to reduce the owners' risk and deliver construction programs and/or projects on-time, within budget, with complete client satisfaction.
